If you can only get 2, then you just need 40. With 3 harvests, you'll need 60 seeds total for the entire year. Otherwise, use Quality Fertilizer, if you've got it, or Basic Fertilizer if that's the best you've got. If you have access to Deluxe Speed-Gro, you will definitely want to use it for the Pumpkins to add a 3rd harvest.

If you didn't hit 35 items donated yet, you can still make use of the seeds if you can hit that mark by Fall 14, but you will need to buy the full 20 to start the season. If you managed to donate 35 items to the Museum, you will get 9 Pumpkin Seeds from Gunther, if you have them you will save some money buy only needing to buy 11 more Pumpkin Seeds to start.

And just like Hops, you need to put the fertilizer down before you place them!

Just like Hops, they will benefit from Speed-Gro (but not from Deluxe Speed-Gro). Where the Hops were planted you should place Grape Starters. Eggplants don't benefit from Speed-Gro or Deluxe Speed-Gro (neither will give you an extra harvest), so you should use either Basic or (if you can make it) Quality Fertilizer, to get more Gold Quality harvests. Eggplant is like Tomatoes and Hot Peppers: you just plant 6 seeds, then harvest them all season. The final 6 spaces in that section should be for Eggplant, another new crop. With 5 harvests, you'll need 30 seeds for the entire season with 4, you'll only need 24, but again, buy the extras later. But if not, regular Speed-Gro is also good and will get you 4 harvests for the season (instead of the unboosted 3). Again you want to plant 6 seeds to start, and, if you have access to it, you'll want to use Deluxe Speed-Gro which will increase your number of harvests to 5. Bok Choy has the same growing cycle as Wheat, so it's also best planted on Speed-Gro fertilized soil, and it will produce the same amount on the same days, so just like with Wheat, you'll want 6 seeds to start, and buy the other 48 to get the total of 54 you need to cover the entire season later. The former Radish spot should be used for Bok Choy, which is new for Fall. I would shoot for at least 50 seeds, but if you can afford more, then get them. The reason is that the Cranberry seeds are significantly more expensive than other seeds, and as such you will likely once again be limited in the number you can get by how many you can afford. One thing to note before you buy seeds: assuming you do have about 15,000g, you're going to want to do what you did on Summer 1: just buy the bare minimum of crop seeds you need to get started (except for Cranberries). If you took my advice and left the Wheat that was ready to harvest on Summer 28, and also planted Wheat in the spots where you had Radishes growing, then you should harvest them and replant Wheat only in the 6 former Wheat spots. For planting of crops, I recommend more or less picking up where you were at the end of Summer: Your wheat and Corn will still be growing, so you'll want to just continue watering them.
